Did you know that there are many things that you can do to reduce your risk of breast cancer? Prevention is key, which can include making healthy choices, making informed decisions regarding your health, looking after yourself, and getting screened to detect the cancer early.

Here are 5 things you can do to reduce your risk of breast cancer:

  1. Limit the amount of alcohol you drink
  2. Have a healthy body weight
  3. Be physically active
  4. Get screened for breast cancer
  5. Be a non-smoker and avoid second-hand smoke
